Jurys Inn Glasgow is a good quality modern three star hotel located on Jamaica Street. At first appearance the hotel looks as if it could be a bit far out but this is untrue the hotel is in an excellent position to access the shops, pubs, clubs and restaurants in Glasgow. For shoppers the hotel is within walking distance of the St Enoch centre and Buchanan Galleries as well as plenty of shops in Argyle Street and Buchanan Street. You are only about a five minute walk away from the subway at St Enochs, which will enable you to access most of the cities delights cheaply and easily from you hotel.
During the Summer months when the water bus is in operation you can use it to get to Braehead shopping Centre which is generally open until 10pm week nights, the water bus stops just across the road from the Jurys Inn. If the times of the water bus are not suitable you can also get there by taxi, its about 25-30 minutes away by using Glasgow’s newest bridge, the Glasgow Arc.
The nearest pub is the Osmosis which across the road and also nearby is MacSorleys Bar and the JD weatherspoons bar the Crystal Palace. There are also numerous alternatives nearby such as the Solid Rock Café on Hope Street or the Arches which is also a great venue for clubbers. The Sub Club and the Cat House are also nearby and just off Buchanan Street is Karbon nightclub. The nearest music venue is the Carling Academy, which is less than a ten minute walk away and regularly plays hosts some of the top bands. If you are visiting Glasgow to see a band that is playing at the Carling Academy then the Jurys Inn is the ideal place to stay.

Just around the corner on the Broomielaw is the Gala River Boat Casino, you can join and enter on the same day just make sure you take suitable identification.

Exit station onto Union Street and turn right cross at the lights at MacDonalds and carry on until you reach the end of the road. If you are driving park your car in the car park in Jamaica Street, diagonally opposite the Jurys Inn. The car park is above Matalan.
