When we first planned the In Glasgow web site we were not going to include much about the History of Glasgow. After a little research we decided that this would have been an enormous mistake. The History section will probably be one of the largest sections on the site. We have a lot of fascinating articles and stories written by some of the best Victorian authors. There will also be some maps from 1850 showing Glasgow as it develops into the amazing city it is today.
